Rating: 1 / 5 Stars Planning a funeral is one of the most difficult moments in life, and you need vendors you can rely on. Unfortunately, hiring The Flower Basket of Baton Rouge added immense stress to an already heartbreaking day. We ordered hundreds of dollars in custom arrangements for my grandmother's funeral (casket spray, standing spray, rose cross, and an inside-casket floral rosary). On the day of the service: 1 She forgot our funeral entirely. Family was already at the church when she finally showed up severely late with only 2 of the 5 pieces, admitting she mixed up our date and never made the rest. She then decided not to finish the order because bringing them in mid-service would "look funny." 2 Unprofessional presentation: She arrived at a Catholic funeral Mass in gym clothes, and her child was running through the church grounds during the service. 3 Poor quality & unauthorized substitutions: The rushed floral rosary fell apart in the box as the directors tried to place it. Later at the gravesite, we realized roughly 25% of the arrangements were fake silk flowers—including the ones I paid extra to customize—with zero communication or consent. 4 Accounting issues: After

Couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience having flowers delivered by Flower Basket. My order was last minute. But they were able to make delivery on the same day within a matter of a couple hours and the bouquet was flawless. They’ve earned my future business for sure!

I told them I wanted an arrangement on a cross for my sister’s funeral that would express the immense love I had for my sister. I wanted the arrangement to make a statement. And it did! I was so elated, I cried. So many people wanted to know who did this and I proudly told them THE FLOWER BASKET. Thank you, for finding a way to making my thoughts come alive and thank you for your gentle and loving meeting with me at my most vulnerable time. The second photo was also created by the Flower Basket. My niece ordered it for the urn and flowers on the altar for her mom. It was the most beautiful funeral arrangements I have ever seen! My sister was smiling from Heaven.

If you are reading this review while trying to decide on a florist, READ THIS FROM BEGINNING TO END, AND PICK Flower Basket!! I had ordered what I intended to be just a basic bouquet of my girlfriend's favorite flowers, to be delivered after we got back from a Valentine's weekend trip. Y'all. This place does NOT. Do. Basic. And I mean that in the best way possible. In the text for the card, I had written, "I love you, little bird." And even though, no where in this description for this bouquet, did it say ANYTHING about a bird, sure enough, whoever put my flowers together, snuck a tiny little bird in with the flowers, and made me look hella smooth. Also due to the weather, and road closings on Monday/Tuesday, I fully expected a delay. Flowers are absolutely not serious enough to be out delivering in dangerous conditions, but again, this place went above and beyond and called me to apologize for the delay, THAT THEY TRIED TO DELIVER, but the roads were too bad. 10/10, order from this place. Set a reminder in your phone right now, to send your girl, or your man, or your mama, some flowers for no reason in a few weeks. You're welcome.
